Welcome to The Althorp
Right across the road from the open greenery of Wandsworth Common, we’re your go-to local with a fresh new feel. The Common itself has been part of local life for centuries – we’re proud to carry a name with roots in that history. The Althorp family, once landowners in this very area, played a key role in shaping the Common and its surroundings, and we like to think we’re continuing that legacy in our own way—just with more cold pints.
Now, we’ve had a major refresh. Think buttery leather upholstery, brand new artwork, and a shiny new bar taking centre stage in the Common Room. Our taps have had an update—Jubel’s latest infusion is in, but the details are strictly under wraps… you’ll have to pop in to find out.
And just in time for the sunshine, we’ve launched a brand-new spritz menu that’s perfect for basking in the sun… when it’s shining. Sip on a Passionfruit Yuzu – with Tanqueray Gin, Montzi Passionfruit and Yuzu with Mexican Lime soda or, for all our alcohol avoiders, we’ve got various delicious options for you like the Livener – a 0.0% naturally caffeinated spritz for the mindful crowd. Proper summer-in-a-glass stuff… So next time you’re out stretching your legs (or your pup’s), have a wander over and soak up the new look. You’ll be glad you did.
